What's up everybody? Welcome back to The Bandit Show powered by Sit Means Sit Dog Training where good dogs become great dogs and great dogs become legends. Today we've got a high energy three- wheeled superstar in the studio. He's social, he's stylish, and he's got BMX teenager vibes with manners to match. Give it up for dog of the month, LJ, also known as Buddy. Yo yo yo, what's up, Bandit? I'm hyped to be here. Studio looks clean. I like it. Buddy, you came in here calm, composed, very professional.
But I've heard that hasn't always been the case. We have to talk about the sprinkler story. Your mom specifically asked us to. So, let's set the scene. Backyard, new home, new siblings, sprinklers kick on. What happened? Oh, yeah. We're doing the sprinkler story. I knew this was coming. So, when I first got adopted, I was in the backyard with my new siblings. Then the aerobic sprinklers kicked on. Game over. I ran straight to the first one and started biting the water. Chomp, chomp, chomp.
Then I saw another one spraying across the yard. So I sprinted over and attacked that one, too. Double sprinkler assault. Full chaos mode. Mom was calling me, but I didn't even hear her. I was locked in. Water gets the man, bro. By the time the sprinkler shut off, I was soaked and exhausted. Mom was laughing like crazy. That's what I heard. So fun. But zero recall, right? Zero recall. If water was involved, I was gone. And that's where Sit Means Sit stepped in. That's what training fixed.
Sit Means Sit didn't take away my love for water. They gave me control. Now if sprinklers kick on and mom calls, I snap out of it. I listen. I respond. That's the difference. That's huge. Because excitement isn't the problem. Lack of control is. That's the difference. I still love hugs. I still love kisses. Bow. Wow. Wow, I love people. I love social time. But now I've got manners. You've got that pretty pose, too. I can turn it on and turn it off.
Training gave me freedom because when you have control, you get invited everywhere. They didn't change my personality. They upgraded my software. So, if you've got big energy like me, three legs, four legs, doesn't matter. Training builds confidence. Training builds manners. Training builds control. And that's why I'm dog of the month. Sit Means Sit all day. That's what I hear from so many owners. So, for anyone watching, if you've got a sweet dog who gets distracted, overly excited, or ignores commands when things get fun, what would you tell them?
All right, everybody. That's LJ Dog of the Month. Proof that training isn't about limiting your dog. It's about unlocking their best version. If you want calm in the chaos, confidence in distractions, and a dog that listens even when the sprinklers kick on, you know where to go. We'll see you next time on The Bandit
