Welcome back humans and hounds to The Bandit Show. Proudly sponsored by Sit Means Sit Dog Training. I'm your host Bandit, professional good boy and treat enthusiast. Today's guest, Big Deal, dog of the month. Please put your paws together for striker, also known to his inner circle as Booger. Thanks for having me, Bandit. How you doing? Honored to be here. And also slightly concerned you opened with my nickname. Hey, if you're dog of the month, the world deserves the full story. So, Striker, first question.

What does a dog of the month do to celebrate? Well, I like to keep it simple and classy. A mountain of treats, a few cookies, and then more treats, you know, to stay humble. Very important. Carbs for confidence. Now, you've been through training with Sit Means Sit. Dogs and humans watching want to know, "What's your best advice for the next dog starting training? " Two things, consistency and patience. If your humans keep the rules the same and everyone's patient, you, them, the trainer, it all clicks way faster.

Training isn't magic. It's repetition and snacks. Spoken like a true professional. Now, if you had to describe Sit Means Sit in just three words, what would you say? easy, professional, knowledgeable, kind. They know what they're doing. They're super clear with us and the humans, and they stay kind even when we're being a little stubborn. Oh, so you admit it. Little bit stubborn. Look, I'm very affectionate, but yeah, I've got opinions.

The cool thing is my owners are patient, and Sit Means Sit showed them how to work with me, not against me. So, I get structure and a ton of love. I've seen the photos. You are not starved for cuddles. What's the command you're proudest of right now? Honestly, I'm best at waiting for my release command. I can hold that place, stay calm, watch my people, and when they finally say the word, boom, freedom. It makes life way easier. Doorways, guests, kids, all of it. That's big time stuff.

Self-control is like a superpower. All right, important question. Favorite toy? Anything that squeaks. If it squeaks, it's mine. If it used to squeak, I already performed surgery on it. Heroic work. Squeakers everywhere live in fear of you. Before we wrap, Striker, for any humans listening who are on the fence about training, what would you say? If you want a calmer house, a happier dog, and less stress for everybody, go to Sit Means Sit.

They'll coach you and your dog, give you a clear plan, and if you show up with consistency and patience, it really works. You'll get more freedom, more fun, and way more time for treats and squeaky toys. Couldn't have said it better myself. Big congrats again to our dog of the month, Striker, also known as Booger, master of the release command and destroyer of squeakers.
